Zi Wei Dou Shu: the same birth time, a different way of reading it

Both BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu start from the birth time, but they read it with different frameworks. We are making BaZi solid first and Zi Wei Dou Shu comes after — this page explains what it is, how the two relate, and exactly where we are.

What it is

Zi Wei Dou Shu lays out twelve palaces (life, wealth, career, marriage and so on) from the birth time, then places fourteen major stars and a set of minor stars into those palaces by fixed rules, and reads the four transformations (lu, quan, ke, ji) across them. It looks at which stars sit in which palace and how palaces pull on each other, rather than at the strength and flow of the five phases.

How it relates to BaZi

Same input: birth date, time and place correction
Different lens: BaZi reads phases and ten gods; Zi Wei reads palaces and stars
Complementary: many people keep both to cross-check the same question

Because they share the same input, they sit in the same product line for us: the calendar conversion base (solar terms, true solar time) is common to both — which is why this one is queued right behind BaZi.

In progress: Zi Wei charting and reading. We do not ship half-done features — the star-placement rules have to pass against fixed classical tables first
