Chen is the heaven net and Xu the earth net: traditionally read as being bound and blocked.
Read from the four branches: Chen is the heaven net, Xu the earth net. Older texts also say the heaven net is best avoided by men and the earth net by women.

In practice it reads as feeling stuck: the usual real cause is rules and relationships that have not been sorted out. Deal with those two first.
